Renting a car in Dubai as a visitor: documents explained

Visitors can rent with their home licence in many cases. Here is what to prepare.

Licence. Licences from the GCC, UK, USA, most of Europe and several other countries are accepted directly. Others need an International Driving Permit.

Passport and visa. Bring your passport with the entry stamp or visit visa.

Deposit. A refundable pre-authorisation on a credit card, released after the rental.
